Former Federal Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that an extension wasgranted to COAS General Bajwa by Prime Minister and PML-N only passedlegislation in the national assembly, as the Supreme Court had stated thatthere is no law of extension; whether to grant an extension or not was atthe discretion of the Prime Minister. He further said that why there shouldnot be accountability for General Bajwa and General Faiz Hameed.
He discussed on Geo News program and mentioned that the media reports aboutShahbaz Sharif are not accurate, there is no truth to the speculationssurrounding Nawaz Sharif’s return, and his statement remains unchanged; itwas the same in 2018. Shahbaz Sharif’s advice is unrelated to the statementor return, and many things can happen.
The consultation between Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif will continue inthe coming days, and their visits to London will continue. Faisal Vawda mayexpress his distress towards us as much as he wants; he may start usingfoul language. He has personally faced significant discomfort, and ifFaisal Vawda has any issues with the Shahbaz Sharif government, he shouldnot resort to such vile language.
