NAB Chairman drops a bombshell on corrupt politicians

On Wednesday, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) submitted a requestto the accountability court to reopen 81 corruption cases, collectivelyvalued at billions of rupees.

This move follows the Supreme Court’s decision to invalidate NABamendments. The applications, presented by the NAB chairman, were filed inJudge Muhammad Bashir’s court.

Notably, NAB is seeking to reopen cases involving prominent figures likeformer prime ministers Yusuf Raza Gilani and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, formerfinance ministers Ishaq Dar and Miftah Ismail, as well as Sindh ChiefMinister Murad Ali Shah.
