In the fifth and final one-day match of the series played in Johannesburg,Australia won the toss and decided to bowl, a decision that proved wrong.South Africa had to endure the loss of their captain Temba Bavuma early inthe innings, after which Quinton de Kock and Rassie van der Dussen took thescore to 37 before De Kock also fell. Dussen and Aiden Markram thencollaborated to take the score to 80, but at this stage, South Africa hadto endure the loss of the hero from the previous match, Henry Klaasen.
