The Pakistan Veterans Cricket Association has appointed former captainMasbah-ul-Haq as the captain of the Pakistan Over-40 team for the Over 40Cricket Global Cup. According to the head of the Pakistan Veterans CricketAssociation, Fouad Ijaz Khan, experienced former captain Masbah-ul-Haq willlead the Pakistan team in the event starting from September 19.
Former Test cricketer and aggressive all-rounder Abdul Razzaq has beenappointed as the deputy captain by Masbah-ul-Haq. Star cricketers ShahidAfridi, Hasan Raza, and Mohammad Sami have also been included in thePakistan team announced for the event.
Fouad Ijaz further mentioned that former fast bowler Jalaluddin has beenappointed as the coach of the Pakistan team for the Over 40 Cricket GlobalCup, while Azam Khan has been appointed as the manager.
