Chairman of the People’s Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that aparticular political group is targeted in the role-play campaign, citingthe 2018 elections where a coalition of Faisal Hamid, Saqib Nisar, and apolitical group conspired to remove PPP from Punjab. Furthermore ShujaPasha and Iftikhar Chaudhry were also involved in the conspiracy. Thedamage of removing the People’s Party from Punjab was done in a conspiracyinvolving a political group.
He further has said that they are prepared to face NAB cases, and NAB holdsnothing new for the People’s Party. He called on the Election Commission toannounce the election date while speaking at a press conference in Lahore.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari stated that NAB’s Amendment reference was expectedfrom Supreme Court, and he emphasized the need for changes in the laws madeby the dictator. He expressed concern over the discouraging faces on thescreen and insisted that accountability should be uniform for all.
