In Karachi, Pakistan’s captain, Babar Azam, recently honored as the ICCPlayer of the Month, is on the verge of setting another ODI record,according to data.

The top-ranked batter has notched up 19 centuries in 104 innings out of 107matches, leaving him just one short of equaling the record for the mostcenturies in the 50-over format.

Former Pakistani batsman Saeed Anwar currently holds the top position with20 centuries achieved in 244 innings from 247 matches, boasting a strikerate of 80.67. Babar Azam, in contrast, boasts a strike rate of 89.16, andif he manages to score one more century today, he would become the fastestPakistani batsman to achieve this remarkable feat.

Following Babar Azam, Mohammad Yousuf has 15 centuries, and MohammadHafeez has 11 to their names.

Among the present-day cricketers, only Fakhar Zaman (10 centuries) andImam ul Haq (9 centuries) find themselves in the top 10 for the most ODIcenturies for Pakistan.
