Naseem Shah was ruled out of the team’supcoming Super Four match against Sri Lanka in Colombo due to injury, withPakistan Super League standout Zaman Khan stepping in as his replacement.Both Naseem and fellow pacer Haris Rauf sustained injuries in theirprevious Super Four encounter, which serves as a precursor to the upcomingODI World Cup.
Morkel acknowledged the challenges posed by these injuries, describing themas a “big blow.” However, he also emphasized the silver lining, statingthat it presents a “fantastic opportunity” for the new players coming intothe side.
