The establishment of acaretaker government will be in accordance with the constitution and thelaw.
They said that in the current situation, we have a responsible governmentthat is taking everyone along. It is not as if one party is governing inthe provinces and another in the federal government. Political and economicdecisions are being made in the national interest, not based on personalpreferences.
We have no program to prolong power; comparisons regarding elections shouldcome to an end. The authority to set the election date lies with theElection Commission, which has been granted the power to conduct electionsby the Parliament.
Nawaz Sharif’s case is in the courts; we do not know about his return.Nawaz Sharif has served as the Prime Minister of the country three times;he can certainly return to Pakistan if the law allows it. All citizens areequal under the law, and their treatment will be in accordance with thelaw.
