Chairman PTI provided some relief by Special Court

In Islamabad, a special court granted permission on Monday for the PakistanTehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman to speak with his sons by phone untilSeptember 15.

The decision followed a hearing concerning the PTI Chairman’s complaintagainst the Superintendent of Attock Jail within a special court governedby the Official Secrets Act. Judge Abul Hasanat Zulqarnain has not onlyordered the phone conversation with the PTI Chairman’s sons by September 15but has also requested a progress report by the same date.

Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain instructed the jail superintendent to ensurethe PTI chairman’s access to phone conversations with his sons untilSeptember 15, ensuring full compliance with the court’s orders.

It’s worth noting that the Chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) hadfiled a contempt of court petition against the Attock Jail superintendent.The petition pointed out that despite court directives, the jailsuperintendent had not permitted the PTI chairman to communicate with hisson via telephone. The petition also urged the personal appearance of theAttock Jail Superintendent and the initiation of contempt of courtproceedings against him.
