Police and Rangers conducts major operations across the province

Karachi police have conducted crackdowns across the city against illegalAfghan residents, arresting 121 individuals from various areas. Accordingto Karachi police, 45 were arrested from different areas of Korangi, 18from East District, 34 from West District, and 14 from Malir District.

Additionally, City Police have arrested 9 Afghan nationals. Police statethat cases have been registered against these individuals under the ForeignAct for their involvement in violating the lockdown imposed against illegalAfghan residents in the past 24 hours. Police also mention that thecriminal records of suspicious individuals among the Afghan residents arebeing obtained.

On the other hand, Rangers have also arrested 41 individuals during theiranti-illegal resident operations at check posts, including 25 with expiredAfghan identification cards, while 16 individuals couldn’t provide properidentification documents, according to the Rangers spokesperson.
