Pakistani wicketkeeper, batsman, and former captain Sarfraz Ahmed achieveda unique milestone during the First-Class cricket match between KarachiWhites and Peshawar in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2023 at Abbottabad Stadiumon Sunday.
Karachi Whites’ captain, 36-year-old Sarfraz, completed 9,000 runs inFirst-Class cricket, achieving this feat in his 174th match. The36-year-old player has a stellar batting record in First-Class cricket,with an excellent average of 40.65 in 270 innings.
His highest score is 203 not out. At the end of the first day, Sarfrazremained not out at 28 runs, while Aftab Ibrahim was batting at 6*.Additionally, Sarfraz has scored 3,878 runs in List A cricket with anaverage of 32.31.
It’s evident that Sarfraz is one of Pakistan’s most successful captains ofthis century
