“In Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly, in the constituency A-13, the unofficial,non-final results of all 56 polling stations have been announced. Accordingto these results, PTI’s candidate Khurshid Khan has emerged victorious.
According to the unofficial, non-final results from all 56 pollingstations, PTI’s Khurshid Khan secured victory with 6,219 votes.
Rana Farman Ali from Muslim League-N obtained 5,225 votes and secured thesecond position, while Abdul Hamid from PPP received 3,909 votes and is inthe third position.
It’s important to note that the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly consists of 24general seats, including 6 seats for women and 3 for technocrats, making atotal of 33 members in the Assembly.
In the November 2020 elections, PTI had 20 members in the Gilgit-BaltistanAssembly, while PPP had 4, PML-N had 3, MWM had 3, and JUI-F and anindependent member each had 1 seat.”
