Anwaarul Haq Kakar, the Caretaker Prime Minister, chaired the fifth meetingof the apex committee for the Special Investment Facilitation Council(SIFC) on Friday. This gathering included the Army chief, cabinet members,chief ministers, and both civil and military officials.
During the meeting, attendees were briefed on a plan of action aimed atremoving obstacles hindering local and foreign investments in the country.They also devised a roadmap to address economic and administrativechallenges and promote the nation’s economic growth.
Participants were informed about a comprehensive plan to enhanceregulations, and discussions covered short, medium, and long-termstrategies to achieve economic development goals under the SpecialInvestment Facilitation Council.
The prime minister issued directives to intensify efforts for economicimprovement and emphasized the timely enforcement of the action plan. Heurged ministers to ensure its implementation, highlighting the importanceof implementing these measures to facilitate the elected government inrestoring the country’s economy, despite the short tenure of the caretakergovernment
