The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has declared Saudi Arabia’s economyas the fastest-growing among the G20 countries. According to Arab mediareports, the IMF has stated that Saudi Arabia has achieved the fastesteconomic growth among the G20 nations, attributing this growth not only tooil but also to significant advancements in other sectors of production.
According to Arab media sources, the IMF has commended the Saudigovernment’s efforts in solidifying measures to achieve the goals andobjectives of Vision 2030.
The IMF has also praised Saudi Arabia for empowering women and ensuringtheir participation in the labor market, recognizing it as a significantstep towards improving the Saudi labor market.
The IMF’s assessment reveals a historic reduction in unemployment rates inSaudi Arabia, coupled with a 4.9% increase in the non-oil sector of theeconomy during 2023, further highlighting the nation’s economic progress.
