In a momentous triumph over terrorism, the Balochistan Counter-TerrorismDepartment (CTD) achieved a remarkable feat by neutralizing five highlydangerous terrorists belonging to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP)during a fierce encounter in Quetta’s Aghberg area. This meticulouslyplanned operation unfolded in the early hours of a Thursday morning,marking a crucial milestone in the fight against extremism.
The CTD Spokesman officially confirmed the successful termination of thesefive terrorists, all of whom had affiliations with the banned TTP. Theoperation itself was executed with precision, driven by intelligencegathered from Naseebullah, an alleged TTP member who had been apprehendedand was cooperating with the CTD. Naseebullah’s invaluable information ledto the discovery of his associates in Quetta, who were allegedly in theadvanced stages of plotting a destructive act within the city’s boundaries.
The official press release detailed the operation’s initiation based oninformation derived from Naseebullah, who had been named in FIR number84-2023. Upon arrival at the location, the CTD team swiftly cordoned offthe area, sparking an intense exchange of gunfire as the terrorists,evidently sensing the impending threat, opened fire indiscriminately in adesperate bid to escape their encirclement.
Two of the militants attempted to evade capture by fleeing on a motorcycle,but the vigilant raiding party responded with unwavering precision,engaging them in a firefight.
