Former speedster Shoaib Akhtar says that India will avenge their defeat inthe 2011 World Cup semi-final in Pakistan. In an interview with RawalpindiExpress, Shoaib Akhtar told the Indian media that it’s not a dream;Pakistani minds are set on lifting the World Cup trophy in Ahmedabad.
Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh responded by saying that India willalso enter the field to win.
Shoaib Akhtar replied, “This time, Pakistan won’t let India go.” He statedthat going to the World Cup and playing in India against Pakistan will bethe only focus, and no one will talk about the World Cup except when it’sIndia versus Pakistan.
He expressed confidence that this World Cup is going to be one of the bestin the past six decades.
