Turkmenistan has extended an invitation to Pakistan to participate in a $5billion Arcadag Smart City project. The meeting between Federal Minister ofCommerce Dr. Gohar Ejaz and Turkmenistan’s Ambassador Atadjan Movlamovfocused on strengthening trade and economic relations between Pakistan andTurkmenistan. Both countries discussed measures to bolster their economiccooperation.
Dr. Gohar Ejaz emphasized that Pakistan and Turkmenistan have established afoundation of mutual cooperation. The Turkmen ambassador extended aninvitation to Pakistan to participate in their $5 billion Arcadag SmartCity project and offered to provide construction materials and equipmentfor the project.
Dr. Gohar mentioned that they prioritize opening up trade routes andenhancing business relations, and they aim to solidify Pakistan’s activeparticipation in exhibitions in Turkmenistan.
This collaboration between Pakistan and Turkmenistan in the Arcadag SmartCity project showcases the potential for economic cooperation between thetwo nations, and it opens up opportunities for trade and development.
