Najam Sethi claims India scared of losing to Pakistan

Najam Sethi, the former chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), hasraised allegations against the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI)and the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). He accuses them of choosing to keepthe India vs. Pakistan Super-4 match in Colombo instead of moving it toHambantota, despite unfavorable weather forecasts.

Sethi voiced his concerns on his social media platform, ‘X,’ andquestioned the sudden change in plans. He suggested that the decision mightbe driven by apprehension on India’s part about playing against Pakistanand the potential risk of losing the game. To support his argument, heshared images illustrating the differing weather conditions in the twocities. Sethi pointed out that Colombo had an 89% chance of rain on Sunday, whereas Hambantota had only a 12% chance. Nevertheless, the BCCI and ACCreversed their initial decision to shift the match and announced Colombo asthe venue.

“BCCI/ACC informed PCB today that they had decided to shift the nextIndia-Pak match from Colombo to Hambantota because of rain forecasts.Within one hour, they changed their mind and announced Colombo as thevenue. What’s going on? Is India afraid to play and lose to Pakistan? Lookat the rain forecast,” Sethi expressed on ‘X.’
