A suspect who had been blackmailing and harassing female teachers byoffering them fake job offers in Karachi has been arrested. According toSenior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Malik Hassan Sardar Niazi, the policehad received complaints that the principal of a school was involved inblackmailing and harassing female teachers.
It was revealed that the accused not only owned the school but was alsobehind the scheme to lure female teachers with fake job offers and thensubject them to blackmail. He would secretly record their interactions anduse the footage to blackmail them.
Furthermore, SSP Malik Hassan Sardar Niazi mentioned that secret videos hadbeen provided to the police as evidence. Based on this evidence, the schoolprincipal has been apprehended, and legal action is being taken againsthim. In response to a question, SSP Niazi stated that they had obtainedaround 20 to 25 videos while the number of affected female teachers wasapproximately 4 to 5, and various videos involving them have surfaced.
This incident highlights the importance of taking swift action againstthose who exploit and harass individuals, particularly women, in theworkplace. The arrest of the suspect is a significant step toward justicefor the affected female teachers and serves as a reminder of the need forvigilance and accountability in educational institutions to ensure thesafety and security of all staff members.
