The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has taken the initiative to dispatchcentral contracts to the players currently situated in India for the WorldCup, according to insider sources.
These players have been provided with copies of the contracts for theirreview and eventual signing. It has been clarified that the playersrepresenting the Green Shirts will receive their salaries only after thecontracts have been formally endorsed.
Notably, earlier reports had indicated that the PCB successfully negotiatedan agreement with senior players, resulting in a remarkable 202% increasein player salaries. Following this revision, players placed in Category Acan expect a monthly salary of Rs6 million, while those in Category B willreceive Rs3.5 million.
