Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has hinted to take action against Israel,citing what he described as Israel’s actions exceeding acceptable limits.President Raisi made this declaration on his social media account,emphasizing that the “Zionist regime’s crimes have crossed the red lines”and warning that such circumstances could compel action from variousparties.
President Raisi also criticized the United States, alleging that whileWashington had requested Iran to refrain from taking action, it continuedto provide extensive support to Israel.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that theconflict in Gaza would likely be prolonged.
He outlined the objectives of the war, which included dismantling Hamas andsecuring the release of hostages taken by Hamas on October 7th and stillheld in Gaza. Netanyahu assured the families of the hostages that he wouldexplore all available options to bring their loved ones back home.
Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Gallant announced that Israel had entered anew phase of the conflict, indicating that their military operations werecomprehensive, targeting both above and below ground. The minister affirmedthat the operation would persist until new orders were given.
