Arab media reports suggest that economic experts estimate Israel’s lossesto be more than 17 billion dollars, and Israel’s GDP is expected todecrease by 3% by the end of the current year. Israeli experts hadinitially expected a GDP loss of 1.5% before the Gaza war, but to mitigatethese losses, they may need to allocate up to 12.5 billion dollars in thelast two months of the year.
These estimates are higher than the Bank of Israel and Ministry ofFinance’s non-official estimates. Israel’s 500 billion-dollar economy isone of the largest in the Middle East.
