Shan Masood, in particular, played acrucial role in Karachi Whites’ fifth Quaid-e-Azam Trophy victory, earningthe title of Player of the Final for his remarkable 312 runs againstFaisalabad.
Notably, he achieved a unique feat, becoming the first batter to score 200in the first innings and follow up with a century in the final, making himthe second player to achieve centuries in both innings.
Throughout the tournament, Shan Masood accumulated an impressive total of553 runs from four matches, boasting an average of 79.00 and a strike rateof 66.62, with three centuries to his name. Meanwhile, Saim Ayub displayedhis batting prowess by amassing 341 runs from three matches, with anaverage of 56.83 and a striking strike rate of 103.64, including a centuryand two fifties.
Moin Khan emphasized that the outstanding performances of these twocricketers make a strong case for their selection in the three-match Testtour of Australia.
