The International Cricket Council (ICC) has imposed a fine on the nationalteam in the World Cup for a slow over rate.
According to the details, in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023, during the26th match held in India, the International Cricket Council imposed a 20%match fee penalty on the national players for a slow over rate. Pakistanicaptain Babar Azam has accepted the fine.
In a recent match against South Africa played the previous day, a fine wasimposed for a slow over rate, and the Pakistani team was lagging behind by4 overs in the prescribed overs.
South Africa managed to defeat Pakistan by just one wicket after an intensebattle.
