Karachi: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced that it will notextend the deadline for the collection of income tax returns. According tothe details, the last date for collecting income tax returns is October 31.
The FBR authorities have stated that there will be no further extension forcollecting income tax returns. The FBR officials had previously announcedthat tax offices will remain open on weekends to collect taxes and officerswill be on duty to assist individual taxpayers.
In addition, large tax units for corporate taxes will also remain open onOctober 28, and the Regional Tax Offices (RTOs) will also provide serviceson weekdays.
