Maxwell reached three figures in just 40 balls, hitting two fours and threesixes off successive deliveries against Bas de Leede before departing witha score of 106 from 44 balls, including nine fours and eight sixes.

Reflecting on his remarkable achievement, Glenn Maxwell expressed hissurprise and said, “It feels pretty good. I have been pretty exhaustedtoday, so I wasn’t expecting much.
