PTI chief Imran Khan had an emotional phone conversation with his sons,Qasim and Sulaiman, from Adiala jail in Rawalpindi. The call, which lastedfor about half an hour and took place via WhatsApp, saw both of Khan’s sonsgetting emotional, prompting the former prime minister to console them.
The opportunity for this conversation was granted by Special Court JudgeAbu Alhasnaat Zulqurnain on October 18, who directed the Adiala Jailsuperintendent to facilitate the telephonic exchange.
Imran Khan’s current confinement in Adiala Jail is related to the ciphercase registered under the Official Secrets Act. He stands accused ofdisclosing the contents of a classified cipher during his tenure as primeminister, allegedly violating the Official Secrets Act.
