Passenger Plane makes emergency due bomb threat in the plane

A tense situation unfolded at Delhi Airport when an Akasa Airlines flightfrom Pune, carrying 185 passengers, made an emergency landing due to a bombthreat. A passenger claimed there was a bomb in their luggage.

According to media reports, the flight had boarded from Pune just 40minutes before the emergency landing. After the aircraft’s abrupt landingbased on the passenger’s information, a bomb squad team conducted a searchof the passenger’s belongings but found no suspicious items.

The passenger who had reported the bomb threat complained of chest pain andwas taken to the hospital after receiving medical attention. Followingclearance from the police, the flight resumed its journey from MumbaiAirport to Delhi around 6 am.

Further investigations into the incident are ongoing by the police.
