American military bases in Syria were targeted with drones attack.According to a report from the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights in theUK, three drones launched an attack on an American base in eastern Syria,where the borders of Syria, Jordan, and Iraq meet.
It was mentioned that two drones were destroyed before reaching theirtargets, while the third drone hit the base, causing some damage.
Omar Abu Leila, a European-based activist who heads the Deir Ezzor 24 mediaoutlet, stated that the explosive-laden drones also targeted the Koniko gasfield in eastern Deir al-Zor, connected to the border with Iraq.
Rami Abdul Rahman, the head of the Observatory, confirmed that the soundsof five explosions were heard in the Koniko gas field.Since the start offighting in Gaza on October 7, the region is on alert as the United Stateshas sent aircraft, naval vessels, and warships.
