Due to the increase in prices in the international market, gold has becomemore expensive in Pakistan. The price of 24-carat gold has increased by10,000 rupees, making it 215,000 rupees per tola (approximately 11.66grams) throughout the country.
After a 10,000 rupee increase in the price of 24-carat gold, its price hasreached 215,000 rupees, and the price of 10 grams of gold is 197,084 rupees.
In contrast, 22-carat gold is priced at 168,967 rupees for 10 grams in theopen market, while the price for 10 grams of 24-carat gold is 184,328rupees.In the global market, the price of gold per ounce has increased by36 dollars to 1,959 dollars.
