The Pakistan cricket team convened for a training session at the MChinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore on Wednesday. However, the days leading upto this practice were marred by illness, which caused the absence of sixsquad members during their initial training on Tuesday.
This group of players, including Abdullah Shafique, Shaheen Afridi,Mohammad Rizwan, Salman Ali Agha, Mohammad Haris, and Zaman Khan, opted torest due to fever.Dr. Saleem, the medical officer of the Pakistan CricketBoard (PCB), conducted a thorough examination, and five of theaforementioned players were declared fit to join the training session onWednesday.
As a result, all the players from the Pakistan squad, except for MohammadHaris, who continued recovering from fever, actively participated in thetraining. It’s worth noting that Haris serves as a traveling reserve and isnot part of the 15-member World Cup squad.
During the training session, the players demonstrated their fitness levelsby engaging in activities like sprinting. Notably, Shaheen Afridi and Zamandisplayed their readiness by bowling with complete run-ups.
