Nawaz Sharif’s travel plan changed yet again

In what appears to be a change of strategy, the Pakistan MuslimLeague-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif is expected to arrive at IslamabadInternational Airport rather than Lahore’s Allama Iqbal InternationalAirport, according to reliable legal sources within the party who arewell-versed in the situation.

This shift means that the former prime minister is likely to make hisentrance in Islamabad and subsequently make an appearance before theIslamabad High Court (IHC). It has been confirmed through these sourcesthat the deliberations concerning Nawaz’s arrival in the nation’s capitalhave reached a definitive conclusion.

The legal team sources have stated, “The appeals in cases are pending inIHC where Nawaz Sharif would surrender and plead suspension of sentence inIHC.”

Meanwhile, the PML-N has decided to cancel an event that was initiallyplanned to launch an anthem celebrating the return of their party leader,Nawaz Sharif.
