According to the USGS, the earthquake’s intensity was recorded at 5.8 onthe Richter scale. It’s worth noting that this is the second earthquake tooccur in Iran on the same day.
Earlier in the morning, a 5.5 magnitude earthquake struck southern Iran.According to the German Research Center for Geosciences, the earthquake wasat a depth of 10 kilometers (6.21 miles).
