Pakistan government takes a positive initiative for people of Palestine

In response to the unfolding humanitarian crisis in Gaza, Pakistan hastaken the decision to swiftly send humanitarian relief aid to Gaza. Thisaction is aimed at alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian population,as reported by ARY News on Monday.

The Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson issued a statement acknowledging thedire situation in Gaza, where the people have been enduring indiscriminateIsraeli aggression and a prolonged siege.

The densely-populated Gaza Strip, already struggling with oppression, is inurgent need of humanitarian assistance. Pakistan has made the commitment toprovide such assistance, expressing its solidarity with the Palestiniansduring these challenging times.

The government of Pakistan is actively coordinating with variousorganizations and nations, including the Palestinian Red Crescent Society,relevant UN agencies, the Egyptian government, and Pakistan’s diplomaticmissions worldwide. This coordination is essential for finalizing thelogistical details of delivering the humanitarian aid.

The conflict in the region has escalated significantly, with Israeldeclaring war on Hamas after their fighters breached the heavily fortifiedborder and caused the loss of over 1,400 lives. In response, Israel hasinitiated relentless airstrikes, resulting in the deaths of at least 2,670people, the majority of whom are ordinary Palestinians living in theblockaded and impoverished Gaza Strip.

Earlier in the day, Pakistan’s Caretaker Prime Minister, Anwaarul HaqKakar, made a public call for an immediate ceasefire and the lifting of theblockade in Gaza. The caretaker prime minister used a social mediaplatform, formerly known as Twitter, to express Pakistan’s unwaveringsupport and solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine.
