The head of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, said that Hamas’policies and actions do not represent the Palestinians. According to WafaNews Agency, in a telephone conversation with the President of Venezuela,Mahmoud Abbas stated that the policies, programs, and decisions of anyother organization besides the Palestinian Liberation Organization do notrepresent the Palestinian people.
He strongly opposed the relocation from Gaza and called it anothercatastrophe for Palestinians.
Both leaders called for an immediate ceasefire, the protection ofPalestinians, and the immediate opening of humanitarian corridors toprovide medical supplies, water, and food to Gaza.
