Earthquake rattled Indian capital New Delhi

A 3.1 magnitude earthquake rattled New Delhi, the capital of India, onSunday, as confirmed by the country’s National Center for Seismology. Thequake’s epicenter was located 13 kilometers from Faridabad in Haryana. Thisseismic event took place at 4:08 PM Indian Standard Time.

In a separate incident, the southern regions of Afghanistan experienced asignificant earthquake today, marking the third such seismic occurrence injust nine days.

The US Geological Survey (USGS) reported that the epicenter of this tremorwas situated 30 kilometers northwest of Herat, which is Afghanistan’sthird-largest city and is near the Iranian border.

Thus far, there have been no reports of casualties.
