Pakistan gives a strong jolt to Israel at the international front

New York: Pakistan has declared Israeli atrocities against Palestinians inGaza as war crimes and stated that the current situation is a result ofillegal Israeli occupation and aggression.

According to reports, discussions on crimes against humanity were held atthe United Nations, and Pakistan’s Permanent Mission to the UN, SecondSecretary Rabia Aijaz, expressed during the discussions that the blockadeof Gaza constitutes war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Rabia Aijaz emphasized that the people of Palestine are facing coercion,occupation, and violence, similar to what the people of occupied Kashmirexperience. Pakistan is deeply concerned about the deteriorating situationin Gaza due to bombings, and the humanitarian crisis in Gaza is of graveconcern.

The Pakistani delegate also mentioned that in Gaza, both civilians and UNfacilities are being targeted by the Israeli military, and the inhumaneblockade of Gaza by Israeli forces is unacceptable.

She further stated that imposing social and medical restrictions on thePalestinian population is unacceptable, and the present situation is a sadreminder of the illegal Israeli occupation and aggression.

Rabia Aijaz stressed the need for the international community to work alongthe pre-1967 borders and strive for a lasting solution with an independentPalestinian state. There should be no impunity for the criminals involvedin committing war crimes.
