On Saturday, the General Secretariat of the Organization of IslamicCooperation (OIC) strongly expressed its firm rejection and denunciation ofIsrael’s calls, as the occupying power, for the forced displacement of thePalestinian population and its efforts to shift the exacerbatedhumanitarian crisis caused by the Israeli occupation to neighboringnations.
In a press statement released from the OIC Secretariat in Jeddah, theorganization also firmly condemned the blockade of medical supplies, reliefaid, and essential provisions to the Gaza Strip, deeming it a form ofcollective punishment that flagrantly violates international humanitarianlaw.
The OIC reiterated its plea to the global community to promptly takeeffective actions to halt all Israeli acts of aggression against thePalestinian people, which posed a severe threat of an unprecedentedhumanitarian disaster.
