Former PM Khaqan Abbasi made stunning claims about Nawaz Sharif s return to Pakistan

Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has stated that he had informedNawaz Sharif that if there is a generational change in the party, he willnot hold any position. Nawaz Sharif did not make any claim that he wouldreturn to resolve issues.

The recent elections would also be purposeless, so I have no interest. Ifparties do not determine their future, there is no point in participatingin elections. Speaking in an interview with Ary News, he said that hismeeting with Nawaz Sharif was at his own request, and Nawaz Sharif openlyexpressed his opinion on every matter in front of him.

Nawaz Sharif did not listen to what I said, not every matter has asolution, and it is possible that he answered Nawaz Sharif, but I cannotdisclose it. A leader is one, not every president can be made a leader. When I was given responsibility for the first time, I told Mian NawazSharif that whenever there is a generational change in the party, I willnot hold any position, and I have no meeting with anyone, I have noposition.

I said that Nawaz Sharif is my leader and I will always respect ShehbazSharif. Nawaz Sharif did not make any claim to come back and resolveissues, and there was no discussion of forming a new party with NawazSharif.

Today, the agenda is only to address the economy, the country, and thepeople’s issues. The biggest responsibility is on Nawaz Sharif inextraordinary circumstances, and extraordinary measures are required inextraordinary situations. Has PTI and PDM improved the economy while beingin government? Pakistan’s three major parties have not given anything tothe people.

The recent elections would also be purposeless, so I have no interest.Whenever elections are purposeless, I will not participate. I have askedfor tickets in the party and have asked for positions, I have informedNawaz Sharif that I will not participate in purposeless elections.
