Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his support for Israel duringa conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday.Modi took to X (formerly Twitter) to convey this message, reaffirmingIndia’s solidarity with Israel during what he described as their “difficulthour.”
In his Twitter post, Modi emphasized India’s strong condemnation ofterrorism in all its forms and manifestations. He made it clear that thepeople of India stood firmly behind Israel in this matter.
Before this statement, Modi had already expressed deep shock at thecasualties in Israel. The situation had escalated with Israel initiatingair raids in the Gaza Strip in response to a barrage of rockets launchedinto Israel by Hamas, followed by a land and air invasion.
