A decision has been reached to address the staffing vacancies within theNational Accountability Bureau (NAB), with names of potential candidateshaving been identified through a shortlisting process.
Ehtesham Qadir has emerged as the nominee for the role of ProsecutorGeneral of NAB, while Sohail Abdul Nasir has been put forth as thecandidate for the position of Deputy Chairman of NAB, as per insidersources.
These nominations have been formally submitted to the Prime Minister’sOffice by NAB’s Chairman, Lieutenant General Retired Nazir Ahmed, with theaim of seeking approval for their appointments to these pivotal roles.
Pending approval from the Prime Minister, official notifications concerningthe appointments of the Prosecutor General and Deputy Chairman of NAB willbe forthcoming.
