Pakistan and Russia decide to enhance partnership in security and other fields

Pakistan and Russia have affirmed their commitment to bolster bilateralcollaboration across a range of sectors, encompassing security, economics,education, culture, and tourism.

This resolution was articulated during a meeting between Caretaker Ministerfor Information and Broadcasting, Murtaza Solangi, and Russian AmbassadorDanila Ganich. Minister Solangi stressed the importance of expandingcooperation in diverse domains, such as media, drama, films, jointproductions, and training programs.

He underscored Islamabad’s profound appreciation for its ties with Moscowand its eagerness to further strengthen relations in these domains.Minister Solangi highlighted the enduring history of bilateral coordinationbetween the two countries and the shared desire of the people and businesscommunity of Pakistan to foster stronger ties.

He expressed optimism that Pakistan-Russia relations would continue toprosper to meet the evolving needs of the time. The Russian Ambassadornoted extensive cooperation between Moscow and Islamabad across allsectors, including mass media, and expressed Russia’s keen interest inadvancing cooperation with Pakistan, particularly in the realm of media.

He also mentioned the popularity of Pakistani dramas in Russia.Additionally, they discussed the upcoming visit of the Russian Minister forDigital Development, Communications, and Mass Media to Pakistan, withMinister Solangi extending a formal invitation for the visit.”
