Hamas has expressed its willingness to engage in talks for a ceasefire withIsrael, stating that they have “achieved their objectives.” Hamas DeputyChief Moussa Abu Marzouk conveyed in a phone interview with Al Jazeera thatHamas is prepared for possible ceasefire negotiations with Israel.
When asked if the group is ready to discuss a possible ceasefire, theyresponded, “for such things” and “all political conversations,” indicatingtheir readiness.
They also mentioned that Hamas has captured “tens of thousands” of dualcitizenships in Gaza, including Russian and Chinese citizenships.
Hamas claims that in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza, four Israeli soldiers werekilled.
