Major International Airlines suspend operations to Israel

Due to the unexpected Hamas attack on Israel, numerous internationalairlines have halted their flight services to Tel Aviv, citing safetyconcerns and the need for improved conditions before resuming operations.

On Sunday, major US carriers including United Airlines, Delta Air Lines,and American Airlines, along with Air France, confirmed the suspension ofdirect flights to Tel Aviv. Amma, which had operated two scheduled flightsto the United States from Israel over the weekend, has also suspendedservices until conditions allow for a safe resumption.

Delta representatives stated that flights for the upcoming week have beencanceled while they closely monitor the situation to make necessaryschedule adjustments. Hainan Airlines, the sole Chinese airline connectingChina and Israel, canceled its Tel Aviv to Shanghai flights on Monday,citing security concerns in Israel.

They also operate flights between Beijing and Tel Aviv, as well as Shenzhenand Tel Aviv, and have mentioned that their future flight plans will beadapted according to the evolving situation.

Cathay Pacific also canceled its flight between Hong Kong and Tel Aviv forTuesday and plans to provide updates regarding the next flight on Thursday.Korean Air canceled its Monday flight between Incheon and Tel Aviv,anticipating irregular flight schedules in the near future due to thecircumstances.
