Jasmine Sandlas, a Punjabi singer based in America, faced death threatsfrom the gangster Lawrence Bishnoi prior to her performance in Delhi.
Indian news agencies reported that shortly after her arrival in Delhi fora concert at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium, Sandlas received anonymous callsfrom international numbers.
The caller, identifying himself as Lawrence Bishnoi, threatened to attackher at the concert venue. Sandlas’s team promptly contacted Southwest Delhipolice upon learning of the threats, and she was provided with security ather hotel.
It’s important to note that the same gang claimed responsibility for thekilling of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala last year.
