Dutch scientist makes another prediction of high earthquake in Pak – Afghan Hindu Kush region

Frank Hoogerbeets, a Dutch scientist and seismologist associated with TheSolar System Geometry Survey (SSGS), renowned for his previous preciseearthquake predictions, has raised the prospect of another significantseismic event occurring in Afghanistan. This apprehension has arisen in thewake of a sequence of three earthquakes striking the country within a merethirty-minute timeframe.

Hoogerbeets expressed his concerns regarding the situation, stating,”Aftershocks will likely persist in the upcoming days. While it appearsthat the earlier Mw 6.5 earthquake serves as the main shock, the potentialfor another powerful tremor remains.

It is prudent to remain extra vigilant, just in case,” as conveyed throughhis communication platform ‘X,’ formerly known as Twitter.

Tragically, the recent earthquake has resulted in a casualty toll of atleast 14 lives lost and 78 individuals injured. There are growingapprehensions that the number of fatalities might rise further, owing toreports of landslides and individuals trapped beneath the debris ofcollapsed structures.

Afghanistan remains susceptible to frequent seismic activity, particularlyin the Hindu Kush mountain range, which lies in close proximity to theconvergence of the Eurasian and Indian tectonic plates.
