America has announced its support for Israel and its commitment to providedefensive necessities against attacks from the Palestinian resistanceorganization, Hamas.
This morning, Hamas launched attacks on Israel from Gaza by land, sea, andair, resulting in over 200 Israeli casualties, including militarypersonnel, and more than a thousand injuries. U.S. President Bidencontacted Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and stated that the UnitedStates is prepared to provide all appropriate means for Israel’scooperation.
He condemned the attacks by Hamas on Israel, warning that the UnitedStates would be cautious about any party benefiting from the situationagainst Israel. He emphasized that the security of Israel is stronglysupported and unwavering by the U.S., and they are closely monitoring thesituation, staying in contact with the Israeli Prime Minister.
On the other hand, U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin released astatement, saying that the U.S. will work on fulfilling Israel’s defensenecessities, given their existing capabilities. He mentioned that the U.S.will work to meet the essential requirements of Israeli defense to protectits citizens from violence and terrorism.
