ISLAMABAD: Turkey’s state-owned defence manufacturer Makina ve KimyaEndüstrisi (MKE) has showcased its indigenous TOLGA Short-Range Air DefenceSystem during a high-profile live-fire demonstration held at the company’sproving grounds.

Pakistani military observers expressed keen interest in the system, whichcould significantly enhance the country’s capability to counter dronethreats along sensitive borders.
Industry sources indicate that Pakistan, facing persistent low-level aerialthreats, views short-range air defence systems like TOLGA as a priority forstrengthening point and local-area defence.
The successful demonstration underscores Turkey’s growing role as areliable supplier of advanced defence technology to allied and partnernations worldwide.
