Indian Army Officer Killed in Occupied Kashmir, Inquiry ordered over Mysterious Circumstances

ISLAMABAD: An inquiry has been Ordered but Authorities over the death ofIndian Army Junior Commissioned Officer Subedar Sajeesh Kumar who died SeriMastan area of Behramgalla, Poonch district, Indian-occupied Jammu andKashmir. The incident occurred on Friday evening while the subedar led asearch party through treacherous terrain, officials reported. His suddenfall resulted in immediate death, underscoring the perilous conditionsfaced by troops in the volatile region. Colleagues recovered his body withgreat difficulty from the ravine, highlighting the inherent risks ofoperations in such rugged landscapes. However social media accounts claimedthat he has been killed by armed men in the area.

The 42-year-old officer from Kerala hailed from the 16 Madras Regiment andwas known for his dedication and leadership.
