Bajaur, Pakistan – Security forces have successfully conducted a majorintelligence-based operation (IBO) in Bajaur district after receivingconfirmed reports about the presence of militants belonging to the outlawedTehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) faction Fitna al-Khawarij.

According to initial briefings, the operation led to the elimination of over20 terrorists, marking one of the most significant counterterrorismactions in the region in recent months.
